Deed, 3 Sep 1852. Deed Purnel Mosley & Wife to Daniel G. Godwin, This indenture made the Third day of September in the year of our Lord, One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty-Two of Milford Creek, Kent County, of the State of Delaware on the on e part and Daniel G. Godwin of Milford, Kent County and State aforesaid on the other part. Witneseth, That the said Purnel Mosely & Rebecca his wife for the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars of lawful money of the United States of America, p aid the said Daniel G. Godwin interest in certain land and marsh that Joseph Miller, father to her the above named Rebecca, who died in Broadkill Hundred, Sussex County, gave her right, title, and claim, also of Myers Millers, son of the said Josep h Miller, who sold and conveyed to David Lofland involving something about a hearing date of May 1, 1848, (next sentence unreadable), then something mentioning Purnel Mosely (and wife Rebecca?) involving a hearing date of January 29th, 1850, also r ecorded in Georgetown, as will some fully appears (something) being had thereto One-Half of all the real estate said Joseph Miller died, seized, and possessed of.
